As a continuation from my current favourite face products, I also wanted to share some of my favourite lip products! So my collection is a little bit larger than what I show, but as you'll come to learn there's kind of a trend when I pick lip colours and that trend is: nudes. I love mauves, nudes and rose colours because I find that these colours best suit my skin tone so I'm basically sharing my favourite nude lippies.
8. Tarte: Tartist Lip Paint (In: Texas Toast) - This colour is kind of a dark nude with purple undertones. It's matte and doesn't feel drying at all, it actually has a creamy texture once you put it on your lips and also, it feels kind of minty and cool which I love.
9. Kylie Cosmetics: Matte Liquid Lipstick (From left to right: Maliboo, Candy K, Posie K). I'm pretty sure everyone knows about these products, but these are my current favourite shades. I personally like that fact that they feel super soft on the lips, stay on pretty much all day and night and also I love how they smell like cupcakes.
10. Nudestix: Lip Pen (In: Bare) - This is another matte lipstick that kind of reminds me of the Tarte one (no.8) except in a different color. It's more of a light pink nude, something that I love to wear for lunches or more casual parties and it also feels really light on your lips which is a bonus.
11. Urban Decay: Naked Gloss (In: Sesso) - Normally if I've put more effort into my eyeshadow I usually try to keep the lips light because I think it's cuter that way. So I'll just put on this gloss which is kind of a nude/rose colour and what I found is that this gloss isn't as pigmented as other glosses for instance Kylie's glosses are pretty pigmented, but I kind of like that fact that it's a little more translucent. To emphasise the gloss I'll usually put some highlighter on my cupid's bow and a tiny bit on top of the middle part of my lips.
12. Kylie Cosmetics: Lip Liner (From top to bottom: Maliboo and Candy K) - So these two liners are just the ones that came with lipsticks, I had Posie K too but unfortunately I lost it, so obviously I just wear these with the matching lipsticks, but sometimes what I'll also do is I'll fill in my lips and then put lip balm on top so the colour is much more subtle and if I'm going for a more natural look, I'll just do that.
13. Bobbi Brown: Lip Colour (In: Rose) - So I've tried wearing red but it really just never works out for me so this is probably the closest you'll see me to wearing red. I love this lipstick because it's just so pigmented and I love wearing it for more formal and classier events. It's one that I highly recommend.

I'm no make up guru nor am I striving to become one, but there is definitely a large space in my heart saved for make up. Some of my earliest memories are of me playing with make up and making a mess on my face (fortunately, I've learned a few things off watching youtube videos). So I gathered up some of my current favourite products to share with you guys!
1. Estée Lauder: Crescent White BB Cream - I swear by this product. The best thing about it is that it has pretty full coverage for a BB cream, which means that a layer of this stuff and you're good to go. I hate wearing too much product on my skin because I've always been careful about letting my pores breathe and this product puts all those worries to bed. Bonus! It comes with a highlighter and has SPF 50, it's perfect for the girl who's always on the go (or running late, like me..)
2. Clinique Chubby Stick: Sculpting Contour - This product has made contouring 10 times easier, you just draw the lines on your face and blend!
3. Estée Lauder: Double Wear Brush-On Glow (Highlighter) - So I use this product to brighten my face, I use it under my eyes, around my nose wear it can get kinda red and on the highlight points of my face. I usually topple on highlighter on top of wear I've put this product. The coverage is amazing.
4. Benefit: Hello Flawless (Powder) - If I'm going on a night out or more formal events, I usually put this on top of my BB cream to set everything in. It feels light on my skin and adds coverage and it's just a really good product. You can easily use this product on it's own - I used to for school.

6. Benefit: Lolli Tint - This product is the biggest time saver. I usually just pop this on my lips and cheeks before school if I'm feeling a little bit more dressy and head out. Also it's a tint! So it lasts all day.
7. Estée Lauder x Michael Kors: Deluxe Blush Compound - This was a limited edition product as part of a gift set but the compact comes with different shades of Estée Lauder blushes (from top to bottom): Hot Sienna, Electric Pink, Lover's Blush.

Amazes me how creative young minds can be. As part of completing their art course for the IB diploma, the students of my school put together an art exhibition to present their final pieces. Each of the artists picked a theme to focus on and all I can say is 'how'... How can someone be that talented? Although the displays made me feel a little bit incompetent, I managed to snag a couple photos of my favourite pieces:


Bea Nazareno: Focused on the consumption of technology and data and how we live our lives around it, presenting how we have become trapped as a society.


Alexis Uy: Focused on illustrating how art is under-appreciated and looked down upon by reminding the audience of why art is something of value and importance.


Amanda Masigan: Focused on illustrating the pressures of society on women (p.s. there was an interactive piece that required you to look through a peep-hole to view a video of a girl showing acts of seduction, it was to convey the act of voyeurism - I couldn't add a photo of that but I wanted to mention it).


Gabrielle Gane: Focused on highlighting the issue of mental disorders as well as environmental issues regarding today's society.


Vanessa Tan: Focused on highlighting the theme of death and human weakness. Featured is a painting of my friend Ella on burnt wood and silver leaves.

... Again, how are some people this talented?

As a beach-deprived beach bum I couldn't refuse an offer to head over to Punta Fuego with a couple of friends for a day. Located in Nasugbu, Batangas only about 2.5 hours away from Manila, it's the perfect place for a quick getaway from the busy city life.  



This very pink house below is just one of the many residential homes inside Peninsula de Punta Fuego. A residential beach resort means private, quiet and clean beaches. It's the right spot for those looking to escape and detox.
