Day Trip: Punta Fuego
11:43 PMAs a beach-deprived beach bum I couldn't refuse an offer to head over to Punta Fuego with a couple of friends for a day. Located in Nasugbu, Batangas only about 2.5 hours away from Manila, it's the perfect place for a quick getaway from the busy city life.
This very pink house below is just one of the many residential homes inside Peninsula de Punta Fuego. A residential beach resort means private, quiet and clean beaches. It's the right spot for those looking to escape and detox.
Unfortunately though, this also makes it harder for those who don't own a vacation house in the compound to visit these lovely private beaches. But for those who are desperate to pay a visit, they do have a hotel open to the public located 10 mins away in 'Terrazas de Punta Fuego’ (which I have yet to visit.)
The Mediterranean themed furniture and vibrant colours of the house, plus the breathtaking view made me feel like I wasn't just a couple hours away from Manila. The day mostly consisted of food, drinks, mini photoshoots, music, swimming and even a little kayaking. Definitely a trip I’ll remember.
